Hoe wordt spachelputz aangebracht?

Voor het beste resultaat worden de wanden eerst behandeld met een voorstrijkmiddel. Voorstrijken is noodzakelijk om de ondergrond egaal van kleur, niet zuigend, droog en stofvrij te maken. Voorstrijken zorgt voor een betere hechting van het stucwerk en dat komt het eindresultaat alleen maar ten goede.

Het kan zijn dat er slijtageplekken op wanden of plafonds aanwezig zijn. Bijvoorbeeld (kleine) scheurtjes wat de ondergrond zwakker maakt. Om de ondergrond te verstevigen worden scheuren extra behandeld met gaas waardoor de kans op doorscheuren aanzienlijk verkleint wordt.
